Learn to sail

EABC is an Royal Yachting Association (RYA) Champion Club with qualified Coaches, Senior Instructors and Dinghy Instructors committed to delivering safe and fun sailing for all ages. We cater for children learning to sail from 8 years-16 years and adults learning or wanting to improve their skills (age 17 and over).

Beginner and Improver courses for 8-16 year olds

 

  • Monday 16th– Friday 20th July 2018
  • Monday 13th– Friday 17th August 2018

 

Summer 2018 RYA Youth Sailing Scheme, RYA Stages 1-2 & 3-4 certified learn to sail courses.

This is a 5 day sailing scheme for beginners or improvers.

Each day starts at 10am and ends at 4.30pm.

Boats, instruction and sailing equipment* is provided. Bring a packed lunch each day with a beach trip/picnic planned for the last day. Costs £145 per child (non-member).

*We have aimed to provide a selection of wetsuits and buoyancy aids for those who do not have or cannot borrow any. We may not have your exact size but we can provide you with a list of suitable alternative clothing or help source equipment in advance.

Bright Night Sailing- A fun on water series for 8-16 year olds.

Schools and Community Groups– If you are interested in making sailing part of your programme with a taster session/ sailing course for your group. Please contact training@eabc.org.uk to chat about your requirements and we will work to accommodate your group.
